This school year, Ticonderoga® is at the top of its class with Fetch

For the last century, Ticonderoga® has proudly held the title of “The World’s Best Pencil,” ever-present in the hands of students and teachers alike. But when back-to-school season rolls around, the legacy brand still needs to outshine other products to get into student and teacher hands.

That’s why this summer, Ticonderoga® is moving up and getting ahead with the Fetch app. 

The brand partnered with Fetch, America’s #1 rewards app and leading consumer engagement platform, to drive sales and product discovery during their most popular shopping season. Ticonderoga® created dynamic offers on the Fetch app to both increase buy rate and bring new consumers into the brand.

This brand knows that shoppers have different buying habits. A teacher might reach for a box of Ticonderoga pencils without hesitation, but a parent faced with several brand options may need an additional incentive. With Fetch, Ticonderoga® can provide offers to purchase-based audience segments. Each offer includes a personalized incentive in the form of Fetch points, the platform’s in-app currency. 

This dynamic offer segmentation allows Ticonderoga® to efficiently bring new shoppers into the brand while expanding their customer base. By reaching the right people at the right time, Ticonderoga® is enhancing their back-to-school campaign’s effectiveness.

In addition to driving awareness of their beloved pencils, Ticonderoga® added another element to their in-app campaign. This brand partner created a portfolio-style offer program to cross-promote their diverse range of brands, including Tru-Ray® Construction Paper and UCreate® Art Papers and Poster Board. In expanding offer redemption opportunities on the Fetch app, the brand is encouraging shoppers to explore the complete range of classroom tools in the Dixon-Ticonderoga® company portfolio.

This strategic approach maximizes the potential for purchase, leading to increased sales and greater brand visibility – all just in time for Ticonderoga’s® exciting new packaging to hit store shelves.
