Deliberate targeting with strong incentive
Fetch developed an in-app promotion that targeted breakfast category buyers who had not previously purchased this breakfast brand. Users received a high value incentive offer to drive purchasing behavior. The remaining Fetch user base also received a separate offer to increase buy rate of current breakfast brand buyers.
Value & Results
The campaign acquired 77k new buyers within the promo period with 27% of them making a repeat purchase within 3 weeks. The program was also able to successfully reverse the declining sales trend and increased average weekly sales by +5.6% in the states where the offers ran. While in the states where the promo was not live, the breakfast brand's sales continued to decline, proving the positive impact of the Fetch offer.
